No matter whether you are a Christian or not, we all have heard the biblical story of the First Man Adam and his wife Eve. We know Eve as the first lady, who was created from the ribs of Adam. Such a lovely romantic story which will melt our heart 😊

But how many of you have heard about Lilith, who as per old Jewish & Abrahamic tradition was the first wife of Adam? If you search her name in google, the first thing you will see is “Lilith: The most dangerous Demoness and the Queen of Demons, who has a fearsome reputation as a kidnapper & murder of children and seducer of men. Let us think about it as a folklore or a story: but how did the real first lady landed being portrayed as the first demoness??

Going deep into the folklore will give you the answers. Eve was created out of the rib of Adam, whereas Lilith was created out of the same sand from which Adam was created. Lilith was created to be equal as Adam, whereas Eve was created as submissive. Adam & Lilith was created with independent existence and were supposed to co-exist in a mutually accepted relation. But as per the story, it didn’t work out, coz of the simple reason that Lilith was not ready to be submissive to Adam and take his orders. And she went out into the restricted land of all the banished creatures (demons) and thereby eventually becoming the Queen of Demons. Then Eve was created and rest is history and known to everyone, so not going into those details 😊

So are Demons just entities we feel are superior to us and we cannot control-So we give it a scary negative image. Or are they really existing around us, with an evil intention to harm us ??

Now let us continue with the story of Lily. I had a lot of questions and scary thought about the experience of that night. Had a lot of questions to ask her, the main one being, why did she leave the note “ Thanks a lot for the beautiful night “.I had to wait till the next weekend to meet her again since I had to travel out of state for a few meetings. Exactly one week after, we met again.

It was late evening around 7 pm when I entered into her usual hangout pub. Was not sure whether I was more excited or scared to meet her. And then I saw her, bubbly as usual sitting with her friends. I was in double mind to approach her or not, but the moment she turned to my side, she waved at me and then came towards me. My heart was beating so fast, the closer she got. To my surprise, she came and hugged me and said “ Thanks for coming. I was waiting for you. Didn’t want to have my drinks before you reached “ !!

She was super excited and was walking around, holding my hand in hers and introducing me to all her friends. I was in a total confused and lost state of mind, coz before last weekend night, we never had anything more than an occasional smile or a formal greeting. And here I am, being introduced to everyone as somebody so important to her.

In between somebody offered her a drink and she declined saying that she will have it later. I saw surprise in the face of everybody who heard her answer. She asked me to dance with her on the dance floor and as if under some magic I agreed ( even though I haven’t seen a worse dancer than me 😊). It was slow music and hugging me softly while moving her body with mine, she whispered in my ears “ I know you have a lot of questions for me, I am ready to answer now “

She led me to a corner table, which was calm and almost out of the view of everyone. Even when we sat, she was still holding my hand. I had a lot of questions to ask her, but I felt lost sitting there..lost in the moment or out of fear ( I don’t know ). Somehow I asked her, why she left such a note. She replied “ coz I had a beautiful night after a long time. Finally, I found someone with whom I can be who I am “.I was speechless and confused. Inside my mind questions regarding the experience of the warm & cold feeling, the different face I saw and the reply she told now, was suffocating me.

She smiled at me again and touched my cheeks with both her hands. And there it goes again, my left cheek felt like it was touching ice cubes and right cheeks felt like, it was near a fire. She asked, “Isn’t that your first question “.

I was just mesmerized and motionless, but still facing her. Her hands were still on my cheeks. Then she told,” Do not be scared of me. I will never hurt you. I am you now & you are me now. “And then I saw the face change again. Last time it was a sudden glance, but this time I was sitting there and watching the new face. Any normal situation, I would have fallen head and heals for her, coz the face was so beautiful, such beauty that I felt cannot compare to anyone I have ever seen. I don’t know, how long I sat like that. But then the face was slowly changing back, and I saw a face without skin dripping blood from the flesh. I was shivering uncontrollably and sweating a lot, but no voice came out of me. And then it was lily’s face.

It took some time for me to be normal. Lily sat silent till then, still holding my hands. And then she stood up, kissed me on my cheeks and whispered silently in my ears “ I love you a lot and I need you…I won’t let anyone even touch you “ !!.And she left.

I just sat there for hours and my friends had to drop me at my flat after pub hours. Everyone thought I was drunk, but I didn’t have a single drop of alcohol. For the first time in my life, I didn’t have any clue what was happening and what is in stock for the next day. I was totally lost !!

The next time we met, lily told me about the other face. The name and the story behind the face. And that changed my life. Will share it in next post…
